Just bouquets...

Bouquets are my favorite part of design. Knowing what the bride wishes for her bouquet sets the scene for everything else.

The flowers are ordered specifically for each wedding.
This allows for perfect timing for the freshest flowers.

Every flower ordered is used. Very few 'fillers'. It is very cost effective to use a freelance florist.

Each wedding receives special individual attention because I take no more than three a month.

Each bride comes with specific ideas and dreams and it is a joy to help her to achieve them!

One wedding/two backpacks...

Photographer:

One of my bestest friends had a son in Chicago who fell in love and I was invited to pack up my tools and head to the windy city. N and E were married on a gorgeous day in a beautiful church. The party then moved to a wonderful park. They left wearing the backpacks they were using on their honeymoon. I was once again so excited to be asked to contribute.

You make me dance like a fool Forget how to breathe Shine like gold, buzz like a bee Just the thought of you can drive me wild Ohh, you make me smile.

J and E met and fell forever in love... this is my new daughter-in-law! They were married at Park Cities Presbyterian Church May 2009. It was so much fun to get to know her family while being their florist. She wanted DAISIES and PINK wherever she could have pink. Beautiful day!

Another beautiful outdoor wedding.
A wanted white and blue with a touch of red in her bouquet. She is a dear friend and was a beautiful bride.

At last...

My next wedding was for a friend. I have known V since she was around 7 years old. It was a wonderful pleasure to be involved in her wedding day to N. She wanted a wild, just picked from the field look and it was such fun to put together.

...and they lived happily ever after.

My niece M met her beau B and we waited and waited for the big wedding day!
It was a beautiful wedding that I so enjoyed helping with. I packed up all my tools and headed to Arkansas. I picked up most of the flowers on the way and had the rest dropped shipped They had a big wedding party and a beautiful sit down dinner reception. It took many hands to pull off all the arrangements for the dinner, but it turned out beautifully. It was wonderful to work with the entire family with all of us doing what we do best to add to her special day.

It was such a beautiful day!

Once upon a time...

There was a girl named A who fell for a boy[Image] named D and they married. I am the crazy mother who wanted to do her daughter's wedding flowers. I am very good with my hands and learn all I can from practice and reading good books, but still I wasn't quite ready for this experience.

Everything turned out OK, even if a few of the rose heads (she insisted on an entire bouquet of roses only), tumbled down the aisle. I would still do it all again!

Since then, I have learned and perfected so many of my skills with flowers and continue to enjoy every minute of each wedding I am blessed to be a part of creating.
